I love the opera, actually. I was told I could be an opera singer with the right training but, well, I never had the time to dedicate to it. [ A pipe dream, like so many others. It was only something she could fantasize about since she couldn't stay in one place long enough to commit to such training. ] Maybe we'll have to get an opera house here, if we can, so she can go to one eventually. No one should be denied a good bit of theatre.
