[ Honestly, he's never been happier to leave anywhere in his life than this party -- right now. When they both watched the broadcast, Corrin was fighting back the urge to transform into a dragon and crash through the ceiling to make a break for it, but ultimately he decided against it.
If Kaze wasn't here, that is probably action he would've taken, he thought. After all, using his dragon form to flee had been his method of coping until now.
As they make their exit, Corrin shivers - feeling the cold air touch his bare skin was more than a little uncomfortable. How had the climate dropped like this? The outfit hat he was given by the Peacekeeper did nothing to insulate him. ]
Brr...! Freezing! [ he embraces himself from the cold. ] Mm, well, me and a few others that I made friends with here have been renovating some spaces to call our own. There's a lodge by the lake that a couple of them are housed in, and my treehouse is on the property in the garden. Since I was already used to living in a treehouse back home, I figured it made sense. I've grown quite fond of it, even if ... it needs a bit of work.
[ the windows weren't insulated and the roof was leaky, but renovations concealing those things would be provided one way or another without Corrin even realising it...
it's not long before they reach the lake that curves around the lodge where the others lived, and Corrin's modest little treehouse was in sight. He climbs the ladder and turns to Kaze with his arm extended in order to help him up, flicking the light on to show a modest little living space - almost like a one bedroom apartment - but with the same rustic interior aesthetic that a cottage would have.
The windowsills were lined with candles which ... were't placed by him. He more or less accepted that it was just another part of the strangeness of this place. The main room looked comfortable enough, with a small wooden staircase leading up to an attic where Corrin's chambers were. ]
Ugh ... what a night. [ He sits down on the sofa and scoots to the side, making room for Kaze to join him if he so wished. Interestingly enough, he wasn't tired. At all. In fact he was ... brimming with energy. ]

How are you feeling, Kaze?
