The person that Ren just addressed looks up from eyeing his own drink thoughtfully, like a man attempting to gauge how to approach an especially interesting specimen of potentially venomous lizard. Upon closer looking (if Ren is so inclined) he looks an awful lot like the Colin Ren knows (but then, there's multiple people in the Windswept Sea Sept who do - though with this guy, there's a carefully placed hat that is placed the way Ren's Colin would do it, too)... except for that this Colin is significantly older and a good deal more bearded than the one Ren knows. He also is rageier. So who knows if she'll connect any dots here.

Point being, the man looks up and over at her, and then gives her question a moment of thought before responding: "I think that depends on if it means something to you. I have met questionably alive ...people who cared a fair amount and others who didn't at all."
