Part of it is that Mithrun just generally isn't picky, of course. He rarely cares enough to object to sleeping with any given person. But-- distant and half-obscured as his understanding of it may be, he knows there's more, too, with Kabru. More, in fact, in the same way that there was more to his anger at Kabru siding with Laios than having simply been inconvenienced. It wasn't just an obstruction to his goal, and intimacy with Kabru isn't just something he might as well do here, where it's so strongly encouraged.
