Back then, it had simply been a nagging feeling on how he would adjust to personal and duty intercrossing in a way that they'd never had before. How, as he had asked Gladio, he could share his boyfriend with his prince.

Gladio had said that it probably wouldn't change all that much and, considering Ignis has just finished kissing his prince, he's starting to suspect he was very right.
