Gladio is relieved this doesn't get the same powerful reaction the reveal about himself and Noctis did, although he can't help wondering why it didn't. Is it like he suspected, and Iggy's jealousy is so much stronger when Noct is involved because it's not just jealousy over Gladio? The general protective urge? Is it because Gladio isn't with Prompto here and now in the simulation, and that's easier to deal with? Too many variables; it's impossible to tell. But he certainly wishes he could know.

But as long as things are good between him and Iggy...maybe he shouldn't be looking any gift horses in the mouth. Maybe it doesn't - or shouldn't - matter why.

"Yeah, I probably should, unless you really need me for dinner prep." Gladio leans in to press a kiss to Ignis' forehead. "I actually should try and prep my place a little for you, although there's not a whole lot I actually need to do for that, so it shouldn't take long." Mostly it will involve secreting away his Cup Noodle stash, just in case Iggy objects to its presence. It's not like he needs to figure out the sleeping arrangements. "But also...look at yourself. Still asking questions about what could be major revelations when you're already overwhelmed. I don't think you can resist continuing to try to get a fuller picture of things as long as I'm here to get intel from, even when what you actually need is to just process some of the information you've already got. So I don't think it'd hurt you any to have a little quiet time by yourself, even if I don't actually want to leave."
