Maybe that is the best course of action. Ignis has to consider that, even as he stands there at the counter, fingers half curled at the bags still and not wholly facing Gladio. He has to consider that, and then consider something else. Ironically, something Gladio has reminded him off.

And it's that he cannot let his own emotions get in the way of his duties.

Before anything else, he needs to make a decision immediately, and for Noct's happiness as well.

"Try not to be so late that the food cools completely," Ignis replies, forcing his hands into motion. It's not that hard. If anything, he can appreciate the routine which comes from pulling groceries out of their place. "I will be somewhat exhausted after making everything, and I still have plans for afterwards, so I will be leaving dinner somewhat early. I won't be here to heat anything up."

This is for the best. When did he last see everyone here? The other day. He doesn't need a reminder of their presence. If he's in the kitchen long enough, that should hopefully soothe Noctis and Prompto, and then, if he just steps out for a short while, what he's made will help remind them of his presence here while he deals with many other matters he's sure he can find for himself. That leaves Gladio free to slip into place instead, and with that... With two people that he loves and desires besides him, Noct should be fine. Ignis will be sure to see him in the morning as well, when he makes him breakfast.

With that time... He should be able to handle things again, shouldn't he?
