[Hisako would have happily ignored him and been about her way if he'd simply cleared off, but that degree of fear and loathing is... It's not the proper kind, it's not war-fear, but Queen Jachull is right, Hisako can feel the wind and waves of it bracing her, she can read it and taste that it stems from a childhood trauma. If she just listens she can find out more.

Or she could make it grow. She's never used that bit of magic before but it comes as instinct, she could stoke it like a flame and drink it down. Jachull certainly would.

...She'd thought a lot about how she would feel about the enmity between most humans and Stormwings. Exile from the Mortal Realms had happened so early, back when she was still afraid of heights, so early that she'd never had the chance to discover if more than a few people from her old life would want to be part of her new one. This does sting a little but - it's been centuries. Hisako had been young, his age or less, and now there are faint lines on her forehead and around her eyes, and her stomach isn't as tight as it had been.]

Liar.

[About not wanting trouble. Hisako pities him a little and isn't going to turn the terror on him or cut him up unless she's actually attacked first, but she doesn't think there's any point in trying to be sweet or conciliatory right now. Not that those attitudes suit her very well. Little sparks of red-gold fire show again, drawing her hair back into a messy bun, picking up the feather to push through it like a hair stick.]

Good thing you didn't touch this. I'm not in the mood to be responsible for a new chick right now, and you'd be a difficult one.
