[Oh. It's well controlled and doesn't much show, but she can sense just a touch of fear. Gods and Immortals just don't register to that sense, so it's been a very long time. It's like seeing a red, red flower after so long flying over ocean or snow. It's like if she came across the smell of that fried fish stall from her youth as a human, after all this time.

...just gonna tuck that away. It is a relief that he's not going for the feather, anyway.]

Ugh. Back up, I'm coming in. Tell the kitty I'm not here to eat it.

[Hisako spills air and backwings her way down to ground level. The scales on her feet resemble black iron and sound like armored gauntlets clapped to the ground when she lands. Altogether her metal feathers sound like much like armor clicking against itself with every movement, not loud but it's a present sound. Clearly the feather that fell is either one of hers or from something like her, the primary feathers on her wings are even larger and more swordlike. The human skin on some of her body and her long neck is marked with several dull silver scars.

She is distinctly uneasy about being on the ground, even if she is technically the well-armed one here. Better get this over with. Once Hisako's within a few feet of the feather - she has a bouncy, shuffling, awkward walk, like an oversized vulture - she gives it a look. A trace of red and gold fire appears in two spots on it, reflecting brightly, and it lifts up into the air as if held by an unseen hand.

A kind of amorphous inkblot, initially sort of kite-shaped, glides after her and splatters on the ground. Hisako startles, dropping the feather again and half-raising her wings, and looks at her DTF with consternation as it pulls itself together.]

Can you not crash every time I set down somewhere? That looked like it hurt.

[the inkblot forms a little bulb of a head that opens a mouth and says "Sorry. It didn't." in a small voice.]
