Pondering, he raises a closed hand to his chin and rests his chin on it, "That they may be so similar, yet so different. I am unsure if the same treatment or cure may work on such an affliction, though..." he trails off, mind working. He does voice his thoughts aloud, however, the nature of his people and their magical affinities clear in his thought processes. "If over-saturation is the root, perhaps a controlled siphon of excess aether? I am unsure how that would change the physical aspect - if it would do so at all. But a controlled removal would be where I would start. Though, failing removal, suppression of the invasive energy?"

Elidibus shakes his head, sighing. "There is no way to know what would work on your world, at least, not while we are in this place. With such a convergence of realities, it would not be an authentic representation of what may happen in yours."

When Joshua apologizes, Elidibus waves it off. He sees no need for it, considering the subjects they've spoken of. In comparison to tempering or this becoming 'akashic,' the suspicions surrounding the simulation are tame.

He smiles. "There is naught to forgive, but I shall forgive you all the same. In taking advantage of these boons, I find my happiness, but know full well that not all is as it seems. Both may exist at the same time - my suspicions regarding our 'gaolers,' as well as finding a measure of love and care in this place." Speaking off...
