Childe actually looks surprised for a moment. Has he ever heard Scaramouche cough before? He doesn't think he has, not that he keeps tabs on the guy or anything. He's not privy to Scaramouche's origins, no idea he's a puppet and all that. He knows the other Harbinger isn't normal. But are any of them really normal?
"I'm already lost," he says, somewhat nonsensically. But they both are, really, in a place like this. Childe still isn't sure what he believes, but he believes the end of the world thing less now. What motivation is there for bringing him and this other Harbinger into a place like this? He'll figure that out later.
He's still idly twirling the cuffs around one finger like he barely notices them there. Everything he does is for show, though. If he can make someone like Scaramouche squirm, good.
