If he were honest, Dion's senses are a bit - different than what he's used to. It almost feels like just breathing alone is muffled somehow, with things not nearly as notable when he takes it all in through the nose. It's not a SOLDIER thing, he knows that for a fact, he's always been like this, and Dion clearly... isn't.

It's not just his sense of smell, either, although that's the most noticeable things he's ever had in his entire life. Everything feel a little muffled.

But the good news is that his body is pretty big. He doesn't need to have enhanced senses to hear Dion coming.
