Testament takes the entire flying thing rather casually, having felt the sensation at least once or twice themselves before- even so, it is still always fun for them, and that smirk stays as it is on their face. They watch the scenery rush by below, making mental notes of what they see: landmarks, anything interesting (which is plenty, by the way), and the general lay of the land. They make a thoughtful sound as Rose describes herself, using quite a duality. They not only understand but respect her approach of playing it down. It is...Relatable, in a sort of way.
As such, Testament pointedly glosses over the entire creator-god bit, opting instead to focus on the who moreso than the what, or the what is she capable of. That does not an entire person make. It can even become tiresome, really.
Their eyes brighten a fraction at the mention of learning magic, and they lift their head to regard her with their full attention. "Is that so? I have fancied myself a writer, though my works haven't seen the light of day. Yet." A small chuckle, and they continue. "As a user and, perhaps I might say enthusiast of magic. I wield a sort of my own not...like much else, either. We could learn from one another. I would enjoy being 'bookish nerds' as you say, sometime, together."
The talk of hobbies truly sees Testament lighting up. Relatively speaking. They seem visibly pleased, more than before. It isn't saying much given their overall stoic look, but they react the most to hobby talk. "Weird creatures, well, I have worked with and met my share of demons, if those count as 'weird' for you. I have...abundant hobbies, to say the least. We could sit for a while with me listing them. Tea is, however, one. A favorite, really. Do you enjoy it, as well?"
