"Didn' you see me haggling before you showed up?" Nyx smirks, reaching out once more, nudging Gladio in the ribs. Staying in that powerful embrace might be too much for him but at the same time there's a comfortable familiarity with Gladio that makes it difficult not to just keep touching him. Maybe it's because of this place, maybe it's because Nyx has always been one to deal with his problems by burying them under sex or liquor.
Maybe he just wants some small fraction of that unshakable steadiness that comes with being a Shield for himself, a relationship he doesn't have to question or think about. He knows where he stands with Gladio, always has. It's a relief when everyone else from Eos has felt like navigating a minefield. (Worth it, always worth it, but terrifying and uncertain in ways Nyx is uncomfortable admitting to.)
"My business around here is pretty simple." Which sees a crackle of blue light sparking to his hand, a hook appearing in it with a line of fish attached. "Someone's gotta keep these city folk fed. Y'know. Now you're here I might have to enlist you to help me out with the shop."
