Yeah, I can definitely understand the worry. But I think it's also worth noting that people have been being kinky since time immemorial, way before that kind of information was easily accessible. I think, generally speaking, people can be trusted not to want to hurt one another, and so they take things slow and learn out of habit. That's not to say that making information about kink or anything else isn't an extremely helpful service! But I don't think you have so much to worry about. You can just do it because it makes you happy.
