"I really wish it wasn't, Sora deserves so much more than to be a child soldier like myself..." Squall sighs but the light touches in his hair and the way Genesis is so soft with him are a good distraction. He could easily lose himself in this man and he'd do so happily.

"I guess it's still brave but....So Sora is a young kid right? He is the most innocent pure kid I've ever met. Not jaded at all. I'm never seen him with parents, all he's ever talked about are his friends and I guess...I don't know if it's silly of me but I kinda saw myself as his dad after awhile. I wanted to give him what I never had and protect him but I can't protect someone who is the hero of many worlds when I'm not even the hero of my own...I'm just glad he's not here. At least that means he still has a chance to be okay if he's not here yet."
