Well that gets a little bit of a chuckle out of Squall. It's not that he doesn't believe Genesis' words, its that they are too familiar to him and yeah he should just wait and see what happened. "You've almost said word for word what I've said to others. That's kind of funny actually."

He does shrug though, still staying close to Genesis. "My world fell once before. I was sent far away to another planet and had to work myself and others up to take our home back and at the end of it....I wasn't even the one who saved our world. A kid was. He's a good kid but it still didn't fit good relying on a child to save my home."
