Grew up in an orphanage with nothing to my name except my jacket. Joined whatever military unit I could once I was old enough so I wouldn't have to rely on any handouts and could support myself."

He shrugged a bit and leaned a little closer into Genesis' hold. "Never learned why I was left at the orphanage but I guess it doesn't matter at this point anymore. I'm 26, too old to be caring about parents." Even if he did say it like it didn't matter, there was a hint of regret there.
