Yes, many years. Over a decade, at least. He got stuck in the physical realm possessing a corpse, so I offered to host him so that he could return the body to the family and be a bit more comfortable. I really, truly hope he got to return to the spirit world he came from when my body died. He did so much for me. He deserves to go home.
