[Megaera was certainly no stranger to death. Her last appointed position had, of course, been guarding the exit to the depths of hell itself. So when the strange disembodied voice in the drab little room informed her that the world as she knew it had ended, she was largely unmoved. However, for a realm of the dead, it sure was... bright. To eyes adjusted to darkness, it was wholly unpleasant.]
[Meg found herself a comfortable chair in which to lounge and a nice umbrella to do it under, only marginally concerned with her scant get-up. She had worn less. She was more concerned with the unusual piece of thick paper in her hand, marked in green and displaying numbered squares. She turned it over inquisitively. What in the world were "peaceful interactions"? What did the marks on this card accomplish? This so-called Peacekeeper was rather vague. If Meg didn't run into a familiar face soon, nor was she approached by anyone who knew what the hell was going on and could explain it plainly, she would certainly take it upon herself to seek out some answers. The whip lying in the sand beside her, however, may have come across as unwelcoming to some. But perhaps not to everyone.]
