For most of Sephiroth's life, urgency has usually meant alarm, crisis. He'd spent over half his life in open war, after all. So when Genesis yells for him, needs him quickly, and Sephiroth's mind snaps awake to it - he doesn't process context clues, or tone. He doesn't process where they are or what's likely to be happening. All that his still-in-the-process-of-waking mind needs to know is that his mate needs him, right now, and that usually in Sephiroth's life, things go terribly wrong and he loses the people he loves.
It doesn't matter how sore he is, how exhausted he is, how little his legs want to work. Sephiroth goes from mostly asleep (he'd stirred a bit when Genesis had risen, but the smell and warmth of mate had kept him soothed enough to recognize there was nothing to be concerned about and so he'd never fully woken) to almost crashing into the bathroom, arms and wing wrapped protectively around Genesis as his still-bleary eyes scan for a threat, any threat, in roughly two seconds. His adrenaline is through the roof.
