Not exactly.

I've encountered different versions of the same people. It's logical, if you think of it as so; I have lived on Earth, and I've met many others who have also lived on Earth, but different versions of it. Having technology, or magic, or creatures, which did not exist on my Earth at all.

It follows, if there's many versions of the Earth - that there would be many versions of the same person. And a place like this simulation, which somehow can abduct anyone ... it doesn't have to abduct the same version of a person you've met before.
