Sephiroth's stamina as a SOLDIER was already absurdly high - and then he had most of a glass of sangria, which in this place boosts stamina and lowers refractory periods. Zechs may well be concerned about what his stamina is like. There's a solid chance that Sephiroth is going to have so much energy to burn through that he may have to use Zechs simply to keep burning off energy after Zechs is too worn out to really continue to participate.

The sounds Zechs is making are good...but, to Sephiroth, not good enough. Not as good as they could be. It certainly lights a fire in him to see and hear Zechs struggling so hard to keep quiet, to not give himself over to his pleasure...but Sephiroth feels, bone deep, how much better it will be to hear Zechs when he fails completely. When he falls apart so completely on Sephiroth's cock that he can't even think of maintaining any sort of composure anymore. As warm and tight as Zechs is around him, Sephiroth has a strange sense of not being able to - or perhaps simply not being willing to - simply let himself go completely until Zechs does. Maybe it's competitiveness; maybe it's a feeling born of them both having been soldiers, and feeling as though he can't fall short of any expectations Zechs is intentionally (or subconsciously) setting. Or maybe it's that he simply doesn't feel like he can, or should, lose himself utterly in his own pleasure if his partner isn't right there with him.

He doesn't know, and isn't particularly trying to figure it out. What he feels is that shattering Zechs is his top priority.

His hand finds its way back to Zechs' cock, wrapping around his length and stroking it roughly. With his body now keeping Zechs quite comfortably pinned to the wall, and Zechs' legs wrapped around him, he doesn't need his hands to hold the man up as much anymore. This frees up the other to move up to curl fingers around Zechs' neck. Interestingly, there's no pressure there; it doesn't even feel like an implied threat, except in its positioning itself. What Sephiroth is thinking in doing this - if anything at all - is unclear...at least until Sephiroth uses that hand, exerting a not-overtight but irresistible pressure on the underside of Zechs' jaw, to turn the man's head so that Zechs is looking at him, rather than anywhere else. Even in the low light, it's easy to make out Sephiroth's eyes fixed on him, watching him.
