Someone sits down close by, and Cloud doesn't need to glance over to know who it is, though he couldn't say why or how. He's surprised to find that he doesn't even mind. Somehow, the now-gentle rain and fragrant flowers in this peaceful place, so unlike the world he knows, seem to make all that hatred and grief and horror feel distant and irrelevant.

Still, he doesn't say anything for a minute or two - concerned, maybe, that if he breaks the silence, this calm acceptance will break, too. Eventually, gaze still fixed on the sky, Cloud says, "I saw a dog with two heads. And a...fish-cat. Wasn't sure they were real, but Zack saw them, too."
