Cloud has been here for a week or so, now; things are still a bit of a blur for him, and after his run-in with Sephiroth, he's been avoiding the main hub (and people altogether). But he can't rely on Zack for everything forever. He's got to at least get to know this place a little better and figure out how things work around here.
Somewhere along the way, he picked up an aquamarine egg, which is now sitting on the bar in front of him, glowing faintly. It reminds him of Zack's eyes, which is a weird thing to think, but his mind is a mess anyway so it barely pings on his radar of weird things. Suffice it to say, he's keeping it.
Next to the egg sits his drink, a firecracker of some kind, which he's periodically sipping as he sits there at the bar. He tells himself he's people-watching, and that is what he intends to do, but half the time he's really just zoning out - so anyone who approaches him might end up startling him.

2. April Showers
Just a bit of rain might have been fine, but this downpour and the dark skies prove to be too much; Cloud sits in the little shelter he and Zack made in some ruins and watches the rain fall, listens to its roar, and forgets where he is. It was raining like this that day on the cliff, too. His head aches, and after a while, he realizes that somehow, he's lost the sword. Zack's sword, the one he gave to Cloud when he--
Cloud stumbles out of the ruins, searching frantically. How could he have lost it? Did he drop it and pass out? Did someone take it? Shit. He has to find it, right now.
So when he comes across another person emerging from the endless curtain of gray rain, he can barely make out their features, and his mind fills them in - a Shinra uniform, a helmet, a gun. Or maybe a crisp, dark suit and an earpiece. Gritting his teeth, he rushes at them with too much speed and tries to grab them and shove them up against the nearest wall, with too much strength. Mako-bright eyes, a little wild, stare into theirs as he demands, "Where is it? My sword. Give it back."
3. One Fish, Two Fish
Anyone who runs across Cloud once the flooding is in full swing may find him standing knee-deep in water, trying to use a rusty pail to bail out their little shelter. The floor is littered with fish-shaped treats, for some reason, and Cloud isn't even fully certain he's not imagining them, so he simply sweeps them up into a pile and ignores them. But if someone came by, hungry or craving sweets, he'd probably let them have some of his stash, and maybe he could even be convinced to try some himself.
[ooc: choose whatever fishy (or fishies) you want Cloud and/or your character to nom! take note: if Cloud loses the ability to speak, it will be Very Upsetting (and I am fine with that).]
4. Seeing Pink
By the time the rain has become nothing more than a light sunshower and the pink flowers bloom all over the place, Cloud has calmed down and can be found lying on his back in a field of blooms, just looking up at the sky and watching the rain fall. When was the last time he even saw a real flower? He can't remember.
Now that he's calmer, the shower's soothing effects have kicked in...and so has the pollen, though he won't realize it until he's in the presence of another person.
5. Wildcard!
[Hit me up on plurk or discord if you wanna plot, or just throw a starter at me! I'm certainly down for any of these to turn into peaceful times, but let's chat a little about how it will go, since Cloud is very inexperienced and kinda mentally unstable.]
