Link chuckles at that. Of course he needed air to breathe. Actually, it makes Link curious if he can last longer underwater here or not; that's an acquired ability, not something inherent. How much has the Peacekeeper taken from him? A question to figure out later. For now, he's busy here with Zechs.

"You'll do better next time," he says. Mistakes mean you learn from them, after all.

Link is small, but he's pretty strong, so it's not trouble to catch Zechs on that small slip.

They manage to get back ashore after that. Link isn't worried about his own clothes and how fast they dry. They're lightweight, made for the desert, and won't take too long to dry. Zechs, though?

"Do you have other clothes?" He has no idea if other people got stuck with just one thing. Link hasn't even acquired a blanket or anything. He doesn't plan ahead like that, not really. He's too used to just making do.
