Hm. The only monsters that my reality had to deal with were humans themselves - and they were enough of a threat. I can only imagine what additional threats could do of the world.

Humanity seems the same in most realities, if that's true. Those sorts of people in power do little to deserve their rank, and think less of the people below them.
